Jake Paul has fired back at Conor McGregor with a social media video after the UFC star tweeted insults directed at him on Monday night.
Jake is currently preparing to return to the ring for a fight with Hasim Rahman Jr on August 6.
Ahead of this, when asked if he believes a fight with Conor is inching closer to reality, Jake told the MMA Hour: “Yeah, for sure.
“I think, for me, fighting a couple of more times, continuing to knock some people out and he has to get active again, who knows when that’s going to happen?
“I think those two things need to happen and then at some point it’s got to happen.
“Why not? He’s a businessman. I’m a businessman. That’s $75million to $100 million for both of us.”
Conor responded by tweeting: “You’ve two fights and done 70k buys.”
And then followed up with a second tweet which read: “You are a flop, kid. A nobody.”
In reaction, Jake took to social media on Tuesday with a video.
“Conor, Conor, Conor,” Jake began.
“You’re more active on Twitter than you are in the octagon.
“Stop taking trenbolone and start taking fights.
Trenbolone is an anabolic steroid – there is no evidence to support the claim that Conor has ever used the substance.
Jake continued: “You’re more actively cheating on your wife than you are in the octagon.
“Your priorities are mixed up. Put down the bottle and get back to fighting.
“You haven’t won a fight in five f***ing years, and the last time you did was against Cowboy Cerrone, who hasn’t won a fight against anyone since fighting you.
“I’m a nobody you say in this tweet. Well, yeah, you’re right, I’m just a f***ing kid from Ohio.
“I really am a nobody, but this is where you fought your sixth fight, there’s literally two people in the crowd.
“And this is where I’m gonna be fighting my sixth fight, Madison Square Garden, the Mecca of boxing. August 6, I know you’ll be watching kiddo.
“Here’s another fun fact – in your 18th fight you made $150,000. In my fifth fight I made $15million.
“You wanna talk about PPV buys? Nate Robinson – 1.8million [on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr], Ben Askren – 500,000, Tyron Woodley I – 500,000, Tyron Woodley II – no-one even wanted to see that fight and we got 200,000 PPV buys.
“In the last five years you’ve had zero PPV buys because you don’t f***ing fight.
“You have a lot to say about me, but I’m sharing millions of dollars with underpaid fighters while you’re sharing hookers with Dana White.
“You shouldn’t have f***ed with me Conor. This is my game, there’s a new king in town, I’m running s*** now.
“Last year when I won Knockout of the Year, you were just getting knocked out because of your calcium deficiency.
“Stop breaking your bones and let’s get in the f***ing ring and make $200million.
“Conor, no matter how you slice it, we’re just not on the same level.
“I’m my own boss.
“Yeah, you made $100million when you fought Floyd Mayweather, but Dana took half of it.
“So no matter what you do or what you make, cut that s*** in half.
“If we went net worth for net worth, I would s*** on you Conor.
“Put the bottle down, get off Twitter, get back in the ring and shut the f*** up.
“I’m gonna put you back on a leash, f*** you Conor.”
