On July 21, 2022 around 1:25 AM, Lower Allen Township Police Department officers observed a car parked just off the roadway along State Road with its daytime run lights on and the engine off. Officers approached the driver's side of the vehicle where a white male was observed apparently sleeping in the drivers seat. Officers attempted to awaken the male, but was unable to. The tag on the vehicle was registered to a James Knoble of York. It also found that Knoble was wanted out of Cumberland, Dauphin and York on various bench warrants.
Knoble was positively identified through his Penndot photo. Officers were able to finally awaken Knoble. He had red glossy eyes and had slurred speach. Knoble then began to grow increasingly argumentative with officers refusing to exit the vehicle before finally being taken into custody. Search incident to arrest located two folded up dollar bills which contained a chalky white powdery substance in Knobles right pants pocket. Knoble claimed this to be HGH or Human Growth Hormone, which he claimed was in order to gain weight. Knoble continued to be verbally uncooperative and argumentative with officers throughout the interaction and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage could be smelled on his breath.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
